One Touch Switch (OTS) is a UK-wide system introduced by the communications regulator Ofcom making it super easy to switch broadband providers. All you have to do is contact your new provider, and they manage the whole process, including cancelling your old service, preventing double payments and downtime by coordinating the switch date seamlessly. The process works across different networks like BT Openreach, CityFibre, Virgin Media and Altnets. You just sign up with your new provider of choice, give your current provider’s details, and they handle the admin, making switching faster and hassle-free.
