BetterFibre is a joint project by Altnet association INCA which seeks to educate users about Altnet services, and powered by broadband information website thinkbroadband.
Our aim is simple: to help consumers find out about Altnet services locally and why they often offer a really good deal for customers.
Altnets are a new breed of companies building full fibre networks independently of BT and their engineering arm Openreach. This means their networks are future-proofed, with no legacy copper services to maintain.
In practice customers find that Altnets usually offer a superior experience at great prices. This is borne out by leading customer review platforms like Trustpilot where Altnets tend to score more highly than traditional legacy services.
And that’s why we named this site BetterFibre. We want more consumers to find out about Altnets and have an opportunity to benefit from their great services.
